APRIL FOOL

Fri Apr 17, 2009, 4:37 AM
The second of my three MA asessments is over, passed it fine but this final section is where my marks are made...I have a lot of work to do before june/july.... So!
I don't know if I'm going to have much time to post here but I shall bung up small peices now and again, perhaps not as odd or from my MA as my work has been the past few months (thank you for putting up with all the strange subjects I've been drawing!).
I'm working on a little fanart for two friends' birthdays so that may appear, otherwise, hope spring is treating you all well and have fun wherever you are.

Hey mate,

No, if course I don't mind if you put some up! Its your work after all, you should be damn proud of it And yes, i found them!! Mwhahahaha! You can't hide it from me

Lol, I did favourite a few, wanted to favourite them all but thought that would look a bit weird!! Ha ha, That white one with Mel sat on the floor was actually James' favourite one. I was still undecided but I was getting bullied off the machine so I couldn't take my time like I would usually. They're all pretty damn good. Which one were you leaning towards? Have you got any feedback about them yet?

Thanks for the good comments about my work. Don't worry about critiquing them mate, i know you're flat out. They're mostly old stuff, I've not written poetry for about two years. Been trying to build up my creativity again, got this site and a blog on livejournal to try and entice out some new brain fluff! We'll see how it goes.

Hugs mate, hope you're doing ok. When do you get the stuff back from the binders, was it today??

You put the covers up!! Mate they are AWESOME!!!!! Absolutely love them all! Which one are you leaning towards? They all look so professional, I had a bit of an emotional moment looking at them! Lol. Closest I'll ever get to seeing my name on a book jacket!
Are you almost done now??

Hi, I don't really have much a of a critical head on my shoulders, but of your cover roughs the one that instantly appeals to me most is number 8. Just from the number of variations you've done on it yourself it's clear we both think that particular image is the strongest. The head turned away suggests something to be revealed, which reflects the title, and white on black is just more striking. Hope that helps!
Ah it does, and thank you for looking! The book is at the binders now so the cover will be printer next week, probably the white on black image as you say. Rather stark but works quite well I hope :)
I need to whiten the white though, that inverted white looks like a photo negative...
